Do you know if I go to my doctor and ask for depression medicine if he will make me see a counselor or not? would talking to my pastor count enough? cuz I do that.

Jay says... your pastor can pray for you, listen to you, give you advice, but he is your pastor and not a counselor.  He has not been trained as a counselor has.  You need to see both, for your emotional and spiritual health.  So do both!  And find out from your counselor about the meds.  Don't just start taking something, find out first what it is all about thorugh your counselor.  Be mature and go see a counselor.  Today.
